Anís del Mono in the living room or after a good meal. Aside from being delicious, it's a great digestive liquor. That's why we suggest you drink it in the traditional way: only, very cold, with or without ice, in frozen syrup or in a glass. With a splash of water to form the legendary Palomita or with a few drops of lemon to give it a citrus touch.
It contains in its composition only matafaluga (anise seed), from which the essential oil is extracted that provides the product's characteristic bouquet. Chemically pure water, refined and filtered sugar syrup, and alcohol. The distillation process is carried out in original copper stills from the 19th century. Two varieties of anise are made, dry (green label) and sweet (red label). Today (2011) it is exported to the United States and several Latin American countries.
