Description
The Reserva DO Somontano red wine “Señorío de Lazan” is made with a sense of history, taking into account that its varieties come from the very foothills of the Serra de la Candelera, specifically the Lazán Mountains. The name Lordship of Lazán comes from the Marquisate of Lazán, noble title created by Carlos II in 1688 in favor of Cayetano Rebolledo de Palafox (Lordship of Upper Rooms and Lower Rooms, buried in Lower Rooms.
Preparation and aging
Traditional fermentation at 28 ° C. The maceration lasts for 21 days. The wine is aged in medium-toasted American and French oak barrels for 14 months, completing the aging with a 24-month stay in the bottle where the wine rounds out and reaches its maturity.
