De el llúpol aromàtic de la regió de Saaz, a Txèquia, sorgeix aquesta genuïna cervesa d’aroma i sabor suau, amb només 3,5% d’alcohol. En aquest racó de la Bohèmia, la collita de llúpol és una eminent tradició que arriba als 1000 anys. Una tradició que ha permès protegir i mantenir inalterat l’esperit del «llúpol Saaz». Aquest rigorós control es remunta a el segle XIV, quan l’emperador Carles IV va reconèixer la seva categoria exemplar i va prohibir tota conreu fora de la terra mare. Avui i des de l’any 1884, el Hop Grading Barn garanteix el seu origen.

This rigorous control dates back to the 14th century, when Emperor Charles IV recognized its exemplary category and banned all cultivation outside the motherland.
