Ron Cacique Añejo is a Venezuelan rum produced by Indústries Cacic at the United Distilleries, although the brand belongs to Diageo.

It is made from a mixture of seven aged rums made from the sugar cane of our own plantations, which, after obtaining the juice, is mixed with mineral water, from pure waters of our own ten to be able to ferment them. This is the differential value of Cacic Añejo golden rum. It is then aged between two and six years in imported oak barrels.

Visually the rum from Venezuela Cacic Añejo is golden and bright with a frank, smooth aroma and subtle notes of pastry, sweet spices, caramel and wood. It has an intense and balanced flavor ideal to enjoy in combinations.

Cacique rum from Venezuela was the market leader last decade but was overtaken by its Dominican competitors as it had a sweeter and easier taste.
