Vines dels Aspres
From the northernmost part of the Alt Empordà, Vinyes dels Aspres are firmly and firmly committed to native varietals (red, red and white Grenaches, and Samsó -cariñena-) and to the production of unique and creative wines: red, white , natural sweets and even an original barrel-aged rosé. Although they have a long family tradition (of three centuries), the winery was refounded and renovated at the end of the 90s to adapt it to the new winemaking techniques. The first new wine was bottled in 2002. Thirty hectares of vines distributed in 14 plots with vines of 30 years of average age, granite and slate terrain, with an old and stony substrate, and a particularly harsh climate due to the inclement Tramuntana, they condition and define the short productions of their wines, care throughout the entire process by David Molas and his team: from the harvest, which is entirely their own, to bottling. In total, around 40,000 bottles per year.
