Conde de Siruela has origins a long time ago, where the Fruits Villar family has been linked to the vineyards and the world of wine, but it was at the beginning of the 20th century when this link intensified, starting a business march for wine, hiring and selling wine from the Toro region locally With this entrepreneurial and pioneering spirit, we anticipate the Denominations of Origin, and in 1920 we created a winery in Toro, our first winery. Some time later and with the same initiative and vocation for progress and renewal, we built, in 1960, another winery in Cigales. In all this time we have tried to create and take care of the product that came out of each of them, the wine, trying to mark it with our personal way of understanding it. When the time came for the consolidation of the Denominations of Origin, the Fruits Villar family acquired a winery in Ribera d'el Duero, Cellers Santa Eulàlia, in 1988. In an effort to cover the different denominations offered by Castilla y León, without ceasing to also produce great wines from its own vineyards not included in any denomination of origin, Cellers Fruits Villar began in 1990 to market wines from the DO Roda. With this we have been able to create our wines in four of the nine quality zones recognized on the wine map of Castile and Leon.
