Santa Pau DOP beans (500g)
How to cook the beans:
Soak the Santa Pau Beans for approximately 8 hours. To do this, put them in a container and cover them with cold water, up to about four fingers above.
After 8 hours, change the water in the container and cook the beans over high heat. As soon as it starts to boil, reduce the heat to minimum. In order for them to boil slowly, keep adding small amounts of water in the container, until the cooking is finished. After half cooking you can add salt to taste.
Once the beans are cooked, remove them from the heat. If you have time, let them rest in the fridge for a few hours with their juice and when you need to use them, drain them.
