Its recipe has not changed, its popularity is increasing. Who would have imagined that what began as a festive drink for hunters would give rise to a history as vivid, rich and varied as our own iconic liquor?

It was Wilhelm Mast's son, Curt, who changed the course of the family's family business, dedicated to the production of vinegar. It took a few years to perfect the Jägermeister recipe, made with 56 botanical ingredients, but we think the wait was worth it. To this day the eyes of our founder, immortalized in stone, continue to guard his creation.
